Interbrand Cincinnati saw an opportunity to celebrate our amazing Branding community here in Cincinnati, showcase the renowned Best Global Brands launch and create awareness for Interbrand. We wanted to bring together a unique and dynamic group of professionals, consisting of current and prospective clients, branding practitioners (Interbranders) and both design and business students.
The key challenge was to create an event that was different from typical conferences, while blending together both the design and business disciplines of branding. In tight collaboration with University of Cincinnati’s Business and Design leaders we created an engaging, interactive day of fresh activities that provided an opportunity to learn, explore and create collaboratively - while also serving as a self-promotional event for Interbrand.
Building a one-of-a-kind conference from the ground up is challenging in and of itself. Inspiring and guiding guests through the Zaha Hadid-designed Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center took that challenge to another level.
Through robust branding with huge banners, posters, elevator and room signage, coded programs, and easily identifiable helpers, we transformed the space into a user-friendly experience, while maintaining the beauty and integrity of Hadid’s soaring and dramatic space. With a bold color palette and unique illustration style to capture the spirit of CONSTRUCT’s inaugural theme of Authenticity, the event’s visual identity inspired participants and successfully guided attendees through the unique and challenging building.
