Bueller? Bueller? Domino’s? With Domino’s Tracker, customers can track their pizza order from dough to their door. It’s set the bar for food delivery, and has tracked more than 100 million orders. But even though it’s been around since 2008, some people still hadn’t heard about it.
That’s why we meticulously recreated the well-known race home scene from the film, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” to show how Domino’s Tracker works. In our version, our hero tracks his Domino’s pizza delivery on his a smartwatch in order to beat the delivery driver to the front door, instead of the school principal in the original movie. We included a cameo from one of the film’s well-known characters, shot at exact locations from the film, and matched framing, color, and grain as closely as possible. Fans of our spot even went so far as to upload shot-for-shot comparisons on YouTube.
Home for Pizza encouraged Domino’s lovers to track their pizza.
