Family-owned and operated vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River, Western Australia. The name 'Jilyara' was inspired by the abundance of bees in the vineyard and derives from the word 'Djilyaro', meaning 'place of bees' in the indigenous Noongar language. ‘Djilyaro' was also the original name of the property. The brief which included the rebranding, was to create a contemporary series of labels for their second tier of wines that created shelf impact and built upon the 'bee- related' theming.
The bee theme in this tier of wines was interpreted on the 'Heath Road' labels through a series of contemporary patterns referencing landscape, honeycomb and the liquid dripping of honey, giving connection to place. The series of banded patterns which could be adapted to both burgundy and bordeaux sized labels, are accented by warm honey toned gold foiling, embossing and gloss high-build.
Memorable labels that achieved cut through with retailers and sales results through successfully appealing to the millennial market with modern yet credible wine labels in line with the stature and quality of the wine.
