Before designed the meditation app I interviewed 10 people. The interview revealed two things in common.
First, people tried to meditate every morning but they said it was hard to meditate in the morning. For users, it is quite annoying to open the app and find content in the morning. However, they want to set and accomplish the goal of morning meditation.
Second, People get a lot of stress and worry before giving a presentation. Users wanted to make a successful presentation by controlling the tension and stress. They said they think of meditation as a way to control themselves mind, but they said they kept forgetting to do meditation.
I started to design to solve these two problems.
To solve the first problem, I designed various easy ways to do a morning meditation. I focus on 3 insights here. 01) Start meditation with one-touch, 02) Morning meditation group training, 03) Meditation time alarm
To solve the second problem, I designed an easy way to access a meditation to get in the right mindset before a presentation. I focus on 3 insights here. 01) Meditation app that has a connection with iPhone calendar, 02) A short meditation for right before a presentation, 03) Remind users of meditation before has a presentation
This meditation app project got a perfect score. Professors showed my projects as an excellent project to other class students.
