Self-defense is a subject matter that is usually hard to talk about, and with my manual, I wanted to change that. I used a retro color palette for my illustrations that create a warm and inviting nature to the book design. I wanted to stress the fact that self-defense is for everyone, and anyone can feel confident about it.
