Identity developed for the exhibition Abitare Italia - Icons of Italian Design, within the scope of Porto Design Bienale, curated by Paolo Deganello and Maria Milano.

The exhibition arises from an urgency to highlight the relevance of Italian design in the international design culture. At the end of the 19th century, the appearance of objects that were not mere expressions of a function or of a productive necessity, an expression of a new idea of ​​beauty, marked a unique flow that produced, and continues to produce, icons that accompany the life of several generations.

It was our intention that this poster should be seen in two different layers: the closest one, that reflects the space in the form of a block, as a container of objects, in a kind of metaphor of the space where it will be exhibiting; and a more distant layer, in which we intend to portray all the pieces present in the exhibition, as if it were the exhibition's repertoire.

These two expressions were based on some iconic posters from the 70s and 80s of Italian design. The typography used is the same as that present on one of the typewriters that is part of the exhibition.
