Strong diagonals were used throughout the design to subliminally communicate the acceleration & extremely high speeds attained by the cars. We used transparent diagonals of the Ferrari red brand color to create a visual “behind the scenes” feeling. There are chapters for each of the 7 race events that Ferrari holds in North America & in Europe each year. We wanted to create a visual story with images to capture the individual character of each race’s track, drivers, mechanics, crowd & podium. To add additional detail, we populated the book with info-graphics presenting data about the tracks, cars, history & sponsors. One chapter consists of heroic full-length photos of the drivers in their uniforms, detailing their names, car numbers, teams & countries of origin.
