Approach: This film was one of a pair that were developed in direct response to the COVID pandemic.
Stock footage was the answer—and brought with it a different set of complications. How do we help the client “own” a set of stock clips? What can we do to make this film come across with all the emotion weight of something that was custom-produced?
Working with a highly talented editor, we pulled together a theory for color grading an extensive group of clips we identified to homogenize them. A precise and detailed edit was pulled together to bring the script to life and deliver a meaningful experience.
Results: The reaction from the client's internal and external audiences has been enthusiastic, and the film helped Cure Alzheimer’s Fund outperform the industry during a year when most nonprofits faced significant challenges.
