The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association asked us to create a commemorative look for the game. The internal team is highly creative in terms of hospitality, the events that surround the game, and how the game is perceived. The challenge was to take the experience of the event and make any and all communications as colorful.
We started with a traditional trophy photo which the client needed. The trophy itself is a unique design. Because the years campaign revolved around the tagline "Like No Other" how could we make the uniquely crafted trophy not look like just another trophy. For over 84 years the event has always been artfully articulated. This year we looked to break ground with the highly stylized colored trophy, while also maintaining brand attributes for the title sponsor, Goodyear.
The CBAA has received accolades from season ticket holders on the presentation from posters to ticket boxes and other elements that were created.
