The assignment objective was to design a single page of quantitative data in the form of an infographic. The main goal was to convey our statistics visually in a clear and effective way for the viewer when analyzing the data. We were to focus on either Covid-19, health, or our specific research topic related information.

The approach taken to complete this project successfully was to research about how and why different foods effected peoples' moods. I then dove deeper into the motivational reasoning underlying food choices. The data obtained was analyzed and broken down in order to clearly convey the information in the infographic. Color choices were based off the nutrients in which different food items contain. The nutrients inside food is what makes them the colors they are. Graphic elements were specifically chosen to represent the relationship between the cognitive part of eating and the actual eating episodes themselves. I am confident that this was the most effective and successful solution for this design.

This infographic design received a lot of positive feedback from classmates and professors. The final design was clear and comprehensive for the viewers to analyze the data. The main goal of this project was to convey complex statistical data visually in a clear and concise manner, which this final infographic design achieved successfully.
