This assignment focuses on composition, typographic hierarchy, pacing and time and sequence of type and image. Students selected a film of their choice to create a unique and appropriate title sequence.
Approach
I chose to use film clips along with original editing techniques to create the title sequence for the movie “Black Snake Moan”.
Results
The final sequence incorporates the film clips and editing techniques to hint at the themes and motifs in the movie itself, such as the struggle one has with their inner demons.
