By studying Swiss-Punk and New Wave designers like Wolfgang Weingart and April Greiman, I noticed the key features in a Swiss-Punk style design: varying letterspacing, font, and weights within single words; the use of geometric shapes and experimental composition that almost feels like it has a grid system but at the same time not.
By understanding the fundamental characteristics of Swiss-Punk design, I created a vinyl that accurately reflected the design style. The Vinyl features bitmap image treatment, offset and multi-layered grid system, and stretched and varied typography.
