The goal of this rebrand and packaging project was to create an iconic visual language that reflected the values of Delheim: sustainability and conservation, while maintaining approachable feel for their consumer base.
I approached this rebrand and packaging design with the brand’s focus on conservation and sustainable practices in mind. I designed stylized icon based on one of the birds Delheim works to create a sustainable environment for, inspired by the illustrations by Charley Harper. The logo design bridges the gap between the roots of the family who established the Delheim winery and their contemporary positioning. The patterns reflect the integral parts of creating the wines, mimicking the veins of the grape leaves, the shapes of the ingredients, or the endless rows of vines spread across the Delheim properties.
This packaging & rebrand solution reflects the goals of the organization while maintaining a beautiful visual style that both sets them apart from their competitors and is recognizable by their consumer base.
