The concept of “Ascend” is inspired by the visual appealing of “Topography" and Zaha Hadid's architecture. Ascend adapted Zaha Hadid's concept of parametric design, which is an emerging concept of the design process in which the parameters are interconnected as a system.
The letterforms are completely original drawn by hand. This typeface involves letters with very low contrast, resulting in sans-serifs with rounded stem endings.
