Design a chair that represents your message and holds form and function.

The chair encompasses the struggle to become my current self, battling through life’s trials. The chair represents Evolution through Defiance.

The chair is made of steel, strong and reflective. It is an introspective look into the designer. This chair represents the evolution achieved through the defiance of oppressive forces. The concave shape is the wave of oppression falling on my life. Prior to that moment the bed of the chair is flat, but once the oppression captures that part of my life, the bed of the chair begins to curve sharply, breaking through the oppression with defiance and reaching the height of enlightenment. The mesh created through the battle between the oppression curve and the life curve are the lessons learned and an integral part of me.
