This series targets at reviving the traditional Russian folk painting such as Palekh,
Khokhloma, Gzhel etc.
Colorful folk ornaments created in the century-old tradition are combined with esthetics of the multinational brands. On the one hand, ornaments covering models body decorate them; on the other hand, eliminate the individual features.
The ornaments together with logos transform a person into faceless package, a brand carrier, absurd slogans, somebody's advertising idea.
The project represents the allegories of modern society obsessed with the cult of consumption and mania of global brands.
