The brief was to create a promotional brand mark for the forth coming exhibition and talks sponsored the Contemporary British Silversmiths.

The title of the exhibition 'Silver Speaks' is neatly captured within the monogram 'S', which features two speech marks integrated into its form and uses a dark and light silver to subtly highlight these speech marks. The monogram 'S' is then juxtaposed with a contemporary sans serif logotype for the exhibition name 'Silver Speaks' featured in the dark silver to help integrated it with the monogram 'S' element.

The speech marks from the monogram 'S' are also used as a visual language for posters and on-line in combination with silversmithing and dynamic words such as 'Create' 'Make' and 'Fashion' 'Craft'.

The result is a clean, gently clever and elegant mark that not only brands the exhibition, but also gives it a dynamic, flexible and memorable visual language for posters, catalogues and on-line and importantly worked as a brand mark in small applications in social media. The mark was loved by the Contemporary British Silversmiths and well as the exhibition venue the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
