This project was a typography assignment. The requirement for this project was to design typography focused poster kit for an event on a social cause. My topic was Immigration in the U.S. and I decided to design a voice for the immigrants in the U.S.
Approach
This typographical poster design was made for a hypothetical social event on the immigrant experience. The intention was to attract the attention of an audience that felt strongly about the issue. I used high contrast typography and color graphics to break the clutter in the outdoor medium. The visual system was extended to the supporting material for the event.
Results
This project picked up Typography award in Communication Arts, Honorable Mention in Adobe Design Awards, HOW Design Awards, Creative Quarterly 100 best 0f 2017
