The assignment was to create a sixteen-page magazine, the subject of which was up to us.

I chose to create a magazine on art, philosophy, and spirituality, knowing the subject would lend itself well to the use of exciting image creation and photo-manipulation opportunities. I decided the magazine was to be heavily image-driven with minimal supporting text to create an engaging visual experience for the reader.

I was generally successful in achieving the design goals I had decided for this project. I had managed to solve the problem of balancing exciting, extravagant imagery with an organized and subdued use of text.
