Create a Guerilla Marketing Execution Campaign for my client, 818 Tequila. My goal was to make a pop-up multi-sensory exhibition and bar to showcase the authenticity and flavor of 818 Tequila. 818 represents home, therefore Flavors of 818 wants to show consumers where 818 came from. Each floor is based on one tequila: Blanco, Reposado and Anejo through the five senses to truly experience every step of the 818 process.
I wanted to show a variety of visual images/mock-ups to display my pop-up exhibition and bar. I created a billboard to promote the event, using the 818 Tequila aesthetic. I then showed the exterior of the exhibition building, which is shaped as a barrel, since the agaves are stored in there and the interior, which displays a floor, showcasing how each senses are involved: touch, see, smell and hear. The floor has interactive displays that consumers can sense. Touch the agaves, smell the scent of tequila, hear the sounds of Jalisco, see the land of where 818 is made and most importantly, taste the flavors at the cocktail pop-up bar. I designed a mock-up of what thee bar would look like, as well as a cocktail menu curated by 818 for fans to try.
I received great feedback for my campaign. I presented it to my portfolio class and even was voted and won one of the best campaigns that day. I believe that fans can use this pop-up event to enjoy the award-winning 818, some of the smoothest and most enjoyable tequila in the world.
