The objectives of this application was to design a mobile app to help individuals who were receiving a colonoscopy. Easy Prep serves to inform the user of all the steps before, during, and after the procedure, confirm they understand the main aspects, and guide them through each step of the process.
Approach
The main problem this app worked to address was the communication challenges in today's healthcare system. Patients can feel confused and are left with text-heavy informational handouts to try to decipher on their own. Easy Prep utilizes icons paired with user-friendly wording to make sure they are fully prepared for their procedure.
Results
Easy Prep works to provide the patient with all the information they need to feel comfortable and confident this procedure is right for them.
