To create an iconic piece of key art, building off past seasons, using a recognizable historical image in an irreverent and respectful way.
Approach
We explored a variety of historical images, landing on the Iwo Jima flag raising as something that could help convey this season’s storyline as well as how the characters interact metaphorically.
Results
A smart, funny and eye-catching ensemble sell, where the pop of red, white and blue highlights the political nature of the show and keeps the main focus on our heroine.
