Create a new brand for Brooklyn-based cloth diapering laundry service, Diaperkind, to offer a holistic system of cloth-diapering products through a direct-to-consumer channel. Product packaging would need to reflect the brand’s mission of sustainability while conveying quality, confidence, and style for the entire system of cloth-diapering solutions.
With a bright and modern visual style to inspire our packaging direction, our approach was an opportunity to solidify the new brand’s credibility within the baby space.
We developed designs that would stand out from the overtly cutesy and/or clinical standard of baby products within the market and in the home. The style also reflects quality through bold patterns and consistent colors, conveying a cohesiveness within the brand, where each part played to the larger whole of cloth-diapering solutions.
The packaging reflected the brand’s mission of sustainability by way of simple and organic shapes that applied to the tags, laundering, skincare, storage, and assembly kits offered by Esembly.
This visual direction was distinct enough to resonate throughout the brand, but flexible enough to expand to new products.
As Esembly continues to grow their presence within the market they have regularly met and exceeded sales goals.
