To visually communicate a primary idea/message through a comparative motion graphic, live action sequence that explores differences and/or similarities. Video footage and graphic elements are fused using associative montage structure, which was introduced in class, to convey the narrative.

The primary objective of this school project is the exploration of comparison/collision montage structure between red foods and green foods (two different personalities). The narrative conveys a variation on the theme of “opposites attract,” while delivering the message that diverse, multi-faceted types of people can enjoy the same things.

With this project, students learn how the entire process of content development and production work in a collaborative team environment. The visual approach and communication techniques help the targeted audience relate to the character(s), the situation, or how each character feels, thinks or experiences.
