The artist Walden asked for a cover art with edgy and techno vibe for his new digital single "first day". After reviewing his previous singles of which the covers are comic style, I decided to experiment something different.

I used an unusual approach to create the main abstract graphic. I scan my own fist while I'm quickly shifting and moving it, then I manipulated the result in Photoshop by stretching and colorizing. What impressed the client and myself is that a traditional method could produce something mysterious and futuristic.

The digital single "first day" was featured on the homepage of Spotify, and along with the Maor Levi remix version, the songs had been ranked #4 and #5 of the most popular list on the artist page.
