The objective of the project was to create graphics for a document destruction truck for an off-site records management company which would convey the function of the truck, and extend the company brand. The solution utilizes truck’s two sides to showcase the symbol and company name on each side, using gradation as a metaphor for customers moving their documents “off-site.” The logo’s dimensional boxes suggest space and storage, forming a circle to represent the access, retrieval and linking of information. The shredder mechanism is highlighted in orange, and engages the viewer by asking, “Have you shredded your confidential records?” The top of the truck functions as a dimensional billboard displaying the firm’s complete range of document storage solutions. The back of the truck displays the company’s document storage offerings and use bright orange arrows to highlight the shredding bins.
