To support the St. Louis Alliance for Period Supplies, we launched This is a Tampon, a channel dedicated to raising awareness and donations for the city’s two-thirds of low-income women who can’t afford period supplies.

We wanted to tell the story of the women we were going to help in our city, but in a way that was relatable to all of those who bleed.

This launch inspired our city to open the conversation about period poverty and increase donations for the organization, and it set the foundation for the tone of our campaign. It also inspired a local apparel-maker to partner with us, where we’ve sold hundreds of shirts and hats to profit the cause.
