Our assignment was to focus on the beauty of Spring and to use that as an over-arching theme to promote some fun Easter weekend activities at the Florida Aquarium.

We wanted to represent this Spring celebration of festivities in a visually compelling way – with a unique Aquarium twist. So, we created a truly distinctive butterfly, featuring wings formed out of multiple butterflyfish and then attached to a body of coral.

The Florida Aquarium’s marketing team thought the image really captured the essence of Spring with an interesting Aquarium spin on it. All of which led people to come out of their cocoon and experience the excitement.
