The objectives of this project was to design a people-centered mobile application concerning a C-section surgery. This app is meant to firstly inform the expectant mother of not only a step-by-step guide of the surgery, but the benefits and risks. This app also confirms that the user understands the main points of the content. And lastly, this app is meant to guide the user approaching through their surgery on how to prepare.

In today's healthcare system, patients are currently informed of their upcoming surgeries through pamphlets that are text-heavy, have little to no visuals, and have no way of confirming that the patient understands what their medical procedure entails. Because of this, I wanted to design a healthcare app that solves all of those problems at once. I especially wanted to make the app user-friendly and have navigable way to confirm that the patient understands what will happen during their C-section and how to prepare.

This project received praise and resulted in a complex application that features many components that will help soon-to-be mothers prepare for their upcoming C-section.
