The Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, located in Washington D.C., is a leading voice for contemporary art and culture and provides a national platform for the art and artists of our time. The museum launched a new identity inspired by the museum’s iconic building. For their yearly fundraiser, the 2017 Hirshhorn New York Gala, they wanted to showcase the new identity and honor Women Artist.

We worked with a paper artist to develop a pop up invitation that would feature the building as well as highlight the honorees on individual columns, thereby showcasing women’s substantial contribution to contemporary art. A bold and feminine color palette demanded the attention of recipients.

The invitation was extremely well received by artists, donors, collectors, and art connoisseurs and made the event and the Hirshhorn’s fundraising efforts a success.
