Lodge is famously-known for their pre-seasoned and durable cast iron skillet. For our campaign, we dedicated as series of print ads to highlight the contrast between the tough, heavy, and rustic appliance while still illuminating its ability to create the most elegant, light, and delicious food.

When we put together this campaign, we saw the circular skillet as an open canvas that works perfectly to convey our message in. We used hierarchy and different custom fonts in our copy to give each word the right feel and importance. Our artistic goal was to make the campaign give that old rustic and grunge homey feeling. We believe we did this well by replicating the screen print process, and adding texture with each layer. The yellow and black are Lodge's significant color that will immediately help the viewer recognize the brand. We believe our artistic touch and our strong copy, says all that it needs to about the message and the brand.

This campaign not only made it into the very competitive student Portfolio Night, it also was runner up many categorizes such as best copyrighting, art direction, and integrated campaign.
