The trailer is broadcast on Seattle television channels in March, leading up to and through the Spring festival (April 14-24, 2022), shown in theaters before each film during the festival and shared on YouTube and other online platforms to promote engagement.
The trailer is a kaleidoscope of film fandom, juxtaposing live-action and animation, creating a genre-bending tribute to cinema, welcoming audiences pursuing a higher plane of cinematic nirvana—and of course, to choose the next cult classics. The artwork teases our perception of cults, but playfully – think Partridge Family, not Manson Family. More crystals, kaftans, and comfortable footwear. And popcorn – lots of popcorn.
