Create a corporate visual identity and product identity for Calima, a new health food company from Sofia Vergara with a new sparkling water product that is infused with Amazonian Superfruit.
Calima is a lifestyle brand with a luxury, organic product. Its Amazonian superfruit bring 100% Vitamin C to each can. And as a company from Sofia Vergara, it required a design solution that was both authentic to the provenance of the fruit, as well as reflective of her as a person and her zeal, color, and passion, as advocate for a bold and healthy lifestyle. We defined the brand as an aspirational heritage brand—taking cues from colonial designs (symbols and typographic logotype) and juxtaposing them with modern illustration styles. Everything is hand-drawn in order to reflect the organic ingredients and natural methods of cultivation and development.
