This is student work for a theoretical client. The logo needed to reflect the company's mission, which is to embrace innovation.
Approach
A fish was strategically incorporated in a way to suggest that it's swimming behind the two main letterforms, towards brightness. The tail becomes a replacement for the crossbar.
Results
Having the letter 'A' and 'D' touching each other and having the fish become a part of them resulted in the logo becoming a solid mark.
