Assignment
This assignment is about creating an exact image with the mesh tool in the Illustrator. This is an assignment from Tina Fong, in School of Visual Arts.
Approach
I firstly chose the Lotus bike image from the internet. Then I brought the image into the Illustrator and then made basic wireframes of the mesh tool. I mostly started with a simple box-meshes since my image is a metallic bike that has lots of rectangular shapes or at least shapes that can be developed from boxes. Then I zoomed in enough so I can have enough glimpse of color differences in each mesh, and I started to add more lines and points in the meshes according to the image.
Results
In the end, I finished with a pretty similar image compared to the original.
