This is the first lineup of artwork published from "People and Thought." In order for viewers to enjoy this work, we tell them that the work is "a typography extracted from the steps taken by a blind mouse," and have them view it with that information.
It is easy to imagine the tremendous effort that was required to extract typography from the steps of a mouse.
In actuality, the typography was created by a designer with his eyes closed, but keeping that a secret was a way to test the value of typography. The problem was in determining whether or not the extra effort increased the value of the typography.
Using inverted varnish printing the end result perfectly matched the concept, and one can see the answer in the design of the finished product.
