To develop a brand package that embodies the never-say-die fighting spirit of the United States and targets the small batch whiskey drinker looking for the perfect drink for any occasion.

We researched the bourbon category and American history pertaining to the American Revolution. Our goal was to create a structure out of glass that would be like no other structure in the bourbon whiskey category. The rattlesnake, a symbol for American independence, dates back to the American revolution, coils around the tailored shotgun shell-shaped bottle. The bottom of the bottle is finished off with a custom embossed base to represent the brass casing of the shotgun shell. The neck closure is a wood bar-top cork and the neck is dressed with a leather strap.

As a new entry into the ever growing bourbon category, American Barrels Bourbon has been picked up by distributors based on its unique package and product taste. Early sales have been promising.
