In order to communicate the turmotulous love story portrayed in the film, I used vibrant contrasting colors for lighting. These juxtaposing colors also played into the contrasting personalities of the two main characters. I created this visual by creating a monochromatic scene through spray painted props and a model wearing a shirt of a matching hue. I then brought in a blue light to create the the contrasting colors. I then chose to cut out sections of the portrait and lay the title behind it to exemplify how characters in the movie are forced to hide part of themselves from friends and family.
