We wanted to tell a story that embodied the magical spirit and charm of Todos Santos—a 250-year-old coastal fishing village in Baja California Sur, Mexico—while defining its new villages of Tres Santos as a soulful, vibrant expression of the people and the place. This is a wake-up call for sustainable, mindful living. An epicenter for wellbeing. A free-range, locally sourced life.
Image and word are pure and simple. Respect for the culture and the land is at the center of every piece of communication. The place itself is open and free, so a large-format brochure worked well to convey that feeling. We developed a series of covers that captures the buyers’ varied interests and passions.
Photographer Art Brewer was selected to shoot the project. One of the world’s premier surf photographers, Art has a soulful approach to portraiture and a profound connection to both the water and the land. Joanna Miriam is Art’s number one digital assistant and photographer.
