An album package design for Pharoah Sanders’s Elevation.

Sander’s music in Elevation opens a new chapter for jazz music in which the artist reinterprets the classical jazz practice by including traditional African instruments to introduce a more spiritual impression. Used as the main vessel in the design of Elevation, typography is used to merge visual cues from both the expression of Jazz culture as well as the subtlety and precision of Surrealism.
