I met this dancer when her company was performing at the Fringe Festival in Rochester in 2014. I made arrangements for her to come to Syracuse, NY to my studio where we collaborated on a range of figure images. She was exceptionally limber yet muscular and was an excellent subject.

Wanted to capture a sense of poise and balance. Employed a long wood beam and worked to create various forms and shapes of the dancer's body.
