Tyrant, a show set in the Middle East, revolves around a political family filled with power, conflict and destruction. While focusing on the three main characters, FX wanted to portray those themes through architecture, art and cultural motifs found in this region.
Approach
We researched different architecture, statues and art and found that a graffiti street art approach was the best solve. It resulted in three different pieces that focused on the main characters while also hinting at season 3’s plot through the ruggedness of the architecture and graffiti style.
Results
The pieces were used as wild posting tactics, which capitalized on the graffiti style of the art.
