For this poster design my goal is to raise awareness on animal cruelty and the skinning of animals for clothes. In this case, skinning them for winter coats. I included a blurb of information at the bottom to let my audience know that there are better alternative to staying warm without having to take away a life.

I used photoshop in my design process to remove the fur from the lion and place it on the ground. I added shadows and texture as well as bleed effects on my text to help give this poster a more vintage and older look since this is a social problem that has been going on for many years now. Additionally, I added price tags to my design to tie the title together and make it seem like the poster is speaking to my audience and giving them the option to chose who they will be wearing. I chose this title to express the many different animals that are killed for their fur each year.

Overall, this poster was successful in delivering awareness to a social problem by giving intriguing and meaningful graphics that are impactful in relation to the subject. I didn't want my poster to be too gory and make my audience shy away from it so I leaned towards a different approach that delivers the same meaning without it being too dark of a poster.
