To create an experience at the Summit Visitor Center that orients visitors to the 10,000-acre property and tells the story of Scouting.

The new visitor center at the Boy Scout Scott Summit Center in the mountains of West Virginia required a moment to signify to visitors that they’ve arrived. The solution involved etching the glass façade surrounding the building with the Scout Law and redrawn merit badge icons in an unexpected and dramatic fashion.

The effect of symbolically passing through the Scout Law (the etched-type façade) left a powerful impression on the visitors and served as a grand portal to the entire experience at the high adventure camp.
