This poster was created as a response to the the tumultuous year 2020. With political discourse, racial tensions and a global pandemic at the forefront, it seems that danger hung heavy in the air. It was a year of "the other" as the enemy. This poster warns of the dangers of demonizing diversity. It is packed with symbolic icons, while hosting a call to action in each of the four corners. The powerful women confronts the viewer holding the olive branch of peace and the arrows of war, leaving the viewer with a choice. The eye of truth beams from her soul and casts a gaze reminding us to do what is right.

The creative process for this poster began with research and self reflection. Inspired by the history of poster art, the images and icons are digitally composed with careful attention to size, scale, unity, texture and layers.
