Inspired by my bottomless consumption of true crime shows I took on the challenge of branding a wine label that would fully captured the mood behind a complicated crime that is difficult to solve. With multiple suspects and a range of clues my goal was to design branding for a winery that would be as captivating and intriguing as the case's themselves.
In order for the brand concept to really speak for itself, I knew that every detail needed to be meticulously thought through. From my extensive "research" (ie. watching more crime shows) I knew that I need to incorporate clues onto each branding material for added interest and help make the consumer feel like they are apart of the process of solving the crime. Each wine vintage gets it's own unique label with a different suspect. On each label you can find multiple clues as to who may have committed the crime; finger prints, eye-witness sketch descriptions, height, spilled ink, and burned evidence.
The brand is a fully thought through and interactive experience for it's consumers.
