Design Week Birmingham needs a printed guide each year to serve as a branded touchpoint to communicate the spirit of the event, happenings, and promote sponsors.
Approach
The solution is a type-driven, dynamic layout utilizing a simple but flexible word stacking and typographic grid. Imagery was woven into the type grid to create rhythm. Clear cover sheet allowed extra dimension without adding extra costs. Digitally printed on HP Indigo 7,000.
Results
The final result was a clearly communicated event, a visually dynamic and memorable event guide, economically produced, and a continuation of the Design Week Birmingham standard of excellence.
