The Toronto mural was painted for the finishing line of the Lululemon 10km race along the waterfront in Toronto. The ask was to create an artwork with energy and would be used for social sharing and in turn creating brand awareness for their products.
The idea was to create and vibrant and energetic artwork where all the racers who finished were able to take a picture in front of it with their friends and family. I used the colour gradient from the race and out a new spin on their brand typeface creating a unique piece that was also used for a limited edition t-shirt for out of town runners.
The mural could only be accessed by those who crossed the finish line, so there was a special sense of pride with those who had their pictures taken in front of the artwork depicting the city they love. The mural was shared thousands of times and the run of limited t-shirts sold out before the race.
