The entire essay must be represented in your final design. Consider which forms of visual presentation best support the story. Expect several forms to be necessary in the design.
Together these forms must work in a cohesive manner to communicate clearly. Hierarchy, layering, and concise reading paths will assist the user experience.

Presentation Create your full-color design using Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign. Vector-based graphics allow superior flexibility when alterations and scale are needed. Do not use raster images (i.e. photos). Color and type should be critical aspects to the overall visual experience.
