The assignment was to photograph a portrait using studio lights.
I wanted to create a black and white portrait that had a more vintage feel and sense of movement within the photograph to create more interest. I used a low shutter speed and directed the studio lights to bounce off the walls onto the client to achieve this look.
The portrait achieved the motion look while still allowing it to be clear as to know what the photo is. I used a crystal crown to give a more vintage look and more depth to the photo, as it multiplied in number due to the shutter speed.
